Marrakech Airport Private Transfer

This is a private transfer between Marrakech Menara Airport (RAK) and your hotel, riad or villa, taking about 20–30 minutes. It costs about €60 per car for up to 4 people, which is from €15 per person, and your driver waits in arrivals with your name on a sign.

Why book your airport transfer in advance

After a flight, the last thing you want is to negotiate a taxi fare in the heat, or to find your riad down a lane cars cannot enter. Official petit taxis exist at the airport, but prices are often quoted high to new arrivals and many drivers do not know where medina riads are. With a pre-booked transfer, the price is fixed, your driver tracks your flight, and if your riad is inside the medina we arrange a porter with a cart to walk you and your luggage to the door.

How it works

• Before you travel: send us your flight number, arrival time, number of people and bags, and your accommodation address.
• On arrival: after passport control and baggage claim, your driver waits in the arrivals hall with a name sign.
• Flight delays: we track your flight, so a delay does not cost you extra.
• The drive: about 20 minutes to Gueliz or Hivernage, 25–30 minutes to the medina, longer to the Palmeraie or Agafay.
• Medina riads: the car stops at the nearest gate or square and a porter carries your luggage (included).

Vehicle sizes and prices

• 1–4 passengers: comfortable car or small van, about €60 per vehicle.
• 5–7 passengers: minivan; ask for the vehicle price.
• Larger groups: minibus on request.
• Night arrivals after 23:00 and addresses in the Palmeraie or Agafay may carry a small supplement, which we confirm in advance.

Return transfers to the airport work the same way: we collect you from your accommodation at a time that gets you there 2–3 hours before your flight. Security queues at Menara can be long in peak season.

Practical tips from our team

• Get a local SIM or eSIM at the airport (Maroc Telecom, Orange and inwi desks are in arrivals).
• Withdraw some dirhams at the airport ATM; the dirham cannot be bought outside Morocco.
• Child seats are free on request.
