Essaouira Coastal Day Trip with Argan Stop
An 11-hour day trip from Marrakech to Essaouira on the Atlantic: argan cooperative and tree-goat stop, free time in the UNESCO medina and fishing port, with hotel pickup.
A 9-hour day in the High Atlas from Marrakech: Ourika Valley, an Amazigh village and argan cooperative, Imlil or Asni and Ouirgane, with a local driver-guide and lunch stop.

This full-day trip (about 9 hours) takes you from Marrakech into three High Atlas valleys, Ourika, Asni-Imlil and Ouirgane, with a local driver-guide in an air-conditioned vehicle. You walk to a waterfall or through a village, visit an Amazigh family house and a women's argan cooperative, and have lunch with mountain views.
The High Atlas starts less than an hour from Marrakech, and on a clear day you can see Toubkal, North Africa's highest peak at 4,167 m, from the city walls. Up close, the valleys feel completely different from the city: terraced fields, walnut trees, mud-brick villages clinging to the slopes and cool air even in June. We designed this day so you see more than one valley and meet the people who live there, instead of spending the whole time in one busy car park.
Your driver-guide lives in the region and speaks English, French, Arabic and Tamazight. On Saturdays we pass through Asni's weekly souk, one of the most authentic markets near Marrakech.
April to June and September to November are the nicest months. In winter (December to February) the peaks are snow-capped and the valleys can be cold; we check road conditions before every trip. In July and August the valleys are 8–10°C cooler than Marrakech, which is exactly why locals go there.
For an honest look at what you see along the way, read our Three Valleys day trip guide and our note on the Asni Saturday souk. Message us on WhatsApp at +212 606-957514 to book.
