4 hours Kasbah quarter and Gueliz, Marrakech, Morocco Private or small group, up to 12 people
from €40 per person Check availability
Courtyard of the Bahia Palace, Marrakech

This 4-hour guided tour combines the Kasbah quarter's monuments, Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs and El Badi Palace, with Jardin Majorelle in the new town. A licensed guide from our team leads the visit, and an air-conditioned vehicle takes you between the medina and Majorelle.

Four centuries of Marrakech in one morning

Marrakech's monuments tell the story of the dynasties that ruled from here. The Saadian sultans built El Badi Palace in the late 16th century and decorated it with Italian marble; today it is a huge open ruin with storks nesting on the walls. Their family tombs, sealed for centuries and rediscovered in 1917, hold some of the finest carved cedar and stucco in Morocco. Bahia Palace, built in the late 19th century for a grand vizier, shows how an elite household lived around courtyards, painted ceilings and orange trees. Then we cross to Jardin Majorelle, the cobalt-blue garden designed by painter Jacques Majorelle and later restored by Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé.

Without a guide these sites can blur into beautiful but silent rooms. Our guides explain who lived here, what the inscriptions say, and why the architecture looks the way it does.

Sites on the route

  • Bahia Palace – entry about 100 MAD.
  • Saadian Tombs – entry about 100 MAD; expect a short queue for the main chamber.
  • El Badi Palace – entry about 100 MAD, with a view from the ramparts.
  • Jardin Majorelle – garden ticket about 165 MAD; the Berber Museum and YSL Museum cost extra. Tickets are sold online for a time slot, and we help you book in advance.

Entry fees are paid separately. If the total feels too much, we can drop one site and add a walk through the Mellah or the spice square instead.

Timing matters

Majorelle is busiest from 11:00 to 15:00. We usually start the Kasbah quarter at 9:00 and reach the garden early afternoon, or reverse the order to catch the garden at opening (8:00) in summer. Bahia and El Badi are open daily, roughly 9:00–17:00.

Practical tips from our team

  • Bring a hat and water: El Badi has little shade.
  • Photography is allowed at all four sites; tripods are not.
  • Book Majorelle slots 2–3 days ahead in spring and around Christmas.
  • The tour suits families; most of the walking is on flat paths.

Questions about this tour

How much are the entry fees in total?

Budget roughly 465 MAD per adult (about €43) for all four sites: about 100 MAD each for Bahia, the Saadian Tombs and El Badi, and about 165 MAD for the Majorelle garden.

Do we need to book Jardin Majorelle in advance?

Yes, tickets are sold online for timed slots and often sell out in busy periods. We send you the link and the best slot for your tour.

Is the tour suitable for children?

Yes. Paths are mostly flat, and kids usually enjoy the storks at El Badi and the blue walls at Majorelle. Strollers work at Majorelle and Bahia but less well at El Badi.
